VP or Director of Brand Marketing

Quiq is looking for an experienced brand leader to craft our differentiated story and compelling value for the market and to clearly articulate how Quiq dramatically and positively impacts the experience top brands strive to deliver. The best person for this role loves to find those meaningful nuggets that are important to buyers and to turn that into a clear and compelling story. This person will develop the go-to-market messaging and brand campaigns that position Quiq to achieve long-term growth. This role will have a significant impact on the entire company, with influence over Marketing and Sales execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be expected to know the customers, buyers, and market so that you can define and communicate a clear, differentiated, defensible, and monetizable market position. You’ll be customer-obsessed, strategic, detail-oriented, and highly creative driving with the following primary responsibilities: 

  • Craft the compelling brand story and positioning for Quiq, for the buyers we serve, the use cases we support, and the value we deliver.

  • Define thought-leadership campaigns with both B2B and B2C execution tactics that align to our go-to-market.

  • Develop brand/company level campaigns to help achieve revenue and pipeline goals.

  • Create company and sales assets like industry research, customer stories, presentations, chalk talks, sales sheets, etc. to help break through the noise in our space and create a sense of urgency for our solutions.

  • Build deep domain knowledge to be the voice of Quiq with the ability to speak, write, and present on behalf of Quiq to customers, partners, media, analysts, and prospects.


  • Very recent experience owning brand messaging and positioning at a successful B2B tech startup.

  • Recent experience creating and executing campaigns at a B2C company and/or using B2C tactics.

  • Dynamic, confident personality with the ability to sell ideas well through creative and innovative presentations.

  • Proven track record of crafting compelling messaging, positioning, and thought leadership content.

  • Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets including social ads, presentations, sales tools, and viral content.

  • Strong organizational and cross-functional leadership skills, as well as outstanding verbal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, execution-oriented, and willing to roll up their sleeves to tackle issues and opportunities head on.
